San Bernard River

April 12, 2014

What a Great Start to the Season!!!! We had 33 riders on 27 PWC and with several new members. The Ride covered 78 miles.

Colorado River

April 26, 2014

42 people on 32 PWC got together for this ride down the Colorado River to Matagorda for lunch and fuel. From there we went out to gulf and enjoy a little time on the beach before returning covering about 63 miles.

Wallisville

May 10, 2014

Launching at the Wallisville Project 32 riders on 22 PWC rode up the Trinity River to sandy beach just north of Hwy 90 in Dayton for a picnic and visiting before returning. 70 miles

Casino Run

May 24-26, 2014

This year we changed it up a little with the Casino Run moving to Memorial Weekend. Taking advantage of the 3 day weekend 18 riders left Bolivar Island and traveled the ICW to Lake Charles on Saturday. Sunday was spent cruising the Calcasieu River where a few more members joined in making it 27 riders for sunday. Then 16 returned to Bolivar on Monday for more than 361 miles of smiles.

Taylor's Bayou

June 14, 2014

Launching from Pine Tree Lodge we traveled up the Bayou and back out to the Sabine River where we took a break near the jetties to the Gulf of Mexico. There we experienced how quickly water can be pulled away out from under your PWC and then comeback even quicker as a large ship traveled up the river. After lunch and refueling challenges we made it back through the locks just in time. 25 Riders on 20 PWC's for 100 miles.

Baton Rouge

June 28-29, 2014

On Saturday 18 Riders on 15 PWC's for 127 miles up the Amite River, Blind River with stops at Our Lady of the Blind River Church, a beach stop and Mexican Lunch

On Sunday 17 Riders on 14 PWC's for 111 miles rode the Ticfaw and Blood Rivers, then down to Natalbony and Ponchatoula Creek. We even visited the pre-Civil War Lighthouse on Lake Ponchatrain. Then a loop through Tangipahoa River to a sandbar on Lake Maurepas, Prop Stop and Tin Lizzie.

Galveston / Oyster Bayou

July 12, 2014

24 Riders on 20 PWC's for 125 Miles From The Texas City Dike to Offatts Bayou and 61 St. crusing past Moody Gardens with a beach stop near the airport. Then we cruised by the cruise ship and jack up rigs along the Galveston docks on our way to the jetties. Afterwards it was off to Stingaree's and a trip up and back Oyster Bayou.

Morgan City

July 26-27, 2014

With 33 riders on 23 PWC's Saturday for 127 miles and then 31 riders on 23 PWC's Sunday for 107 miles this was the best attended weekend ride of the summer. The lake, river, and bayous near Morgan City always gives plenty of places to ride.

Caney Creek

August 9, 2014

Left Freeport with 21 people on 14 PWC for 87 miles. We went down the ICW to a beach stop and then up the Caney Creek and back with a stop for lunch and fuel.

 

Bastrop Bayou

August 24, 2014

29 Riders on 20 PWC enjoyed 66 miles of perfect conditions. Several enjoyed the special speed run up the ditch and back and then the nice break on San Luis Pass Beach.

Niblett's / Black

September 6, 2014

High water levels allowed for great conditions riding the Niblett's Loop on the Sabine River. Then after lunch and Fuel at Peggy's on Cow Bayou we went down and made the loop on Black Bayou. 32 Riders on 24 PWC for 120 miles.

 

San Jacinto River

September 20, 2014

Everyone seems to love the San Jacinto ride especially getting to take pictures in front of the Battleship Texas and San Jacinto Monument. 35 Riders on 22 PWC for 92 miles enjoyed a perfect weather day with guest rider the President of PWCAlaska and his friends.

Brazos River

October 4, 2014

17 Riders on 14 PWC braved a little chilly start to enjoy 82 miles on the water with a long picnic lunch on beautiful sandy beach.

 

Officers Choice - Taylor's Bayou

October 18, 2014

The officers choose to do a little different version of the Taylor's Bayou Ride. We started with a great lunch at The Pine Tree Lodge and then 27 riders on 20 PWC rode for 66 miles up and down the bayous with long stops on the sunken beach and even a crawl out of a looped bypass.
